I would never leave a cat unattended outside, whether the cat was caged, or tethered. It's too easy for another dog, coyote, etc. to grab any small pet.

Not really a question about boarding. Just wondering if many people take a cat with them and what do they do with a cat when on site. When travelling we have a large cage, but when on a pitch we erect windbreaks and contain the cat and the dogs within the windbreaks. We normally travel with 4 dogs and a cat, but it seems we will need to board the cat in future as she thinks the grass is greener the other side of the fence.
