We took Duncan to UW Madison and saw a neurologist. His news was no better for us. So far he's doing well and his symptoms have decreased but at some point he will be completely debilitated.
Love your baby with all your heart and take comfort in knowing that you gave her a happy, comfortable life. Bless you for that.
So very sorry about Duncan. There is comfort in knowing exactly what the problem is. This way I know that it's not just another infection that we have to try another antibiotic for. The piroxicam seems to be working. She certainly is peeing better, starting to walk a bit further at a time and is awake and alert more. That's what the piroxicam does as far as I am told. It doesn't stop the tumors, but it makes her more comfortable for now. I hope she continues to tolerate it.
