Within the last 30 days I posted about our little Sampson (a puppy mill rescue) that was having some real anxiety problems with thunder and loud noises that had never bothered him in the past. I wanted to update everyone who was so gracious about giving advice. We took him to the vet and he found nothing going on and suggested the thundershirt as so many on here had before we go the medication route. Well we got the thundershirt for him and he is a different dog now. He can sense an upcoming storm such as last night. We put the shirt on him and presto, he's right back to his old self. I simply can't believe the difference it makes. Thanks to all my friends out there for your advice. Have a happy 4th and ours will be much better now. :B

That is great! And couldn't be better timing with the 4th coming up and lots of noise expected.

It made perfect sense Lance, I will have to send you a picture of 2 of our kids that go camping with us. We just bought a new Travel Trailer back in Feb. and we upsized considerably with a much larger divan for us too enjoy while watching tv. Well the 2 kids has taken over the divan completely, they each stretch out and if we try to move them they get very perturbed at us. :h Go figure.

That's good to hear - I just suggested a Thundershirt to a friend with a Chi that's scared of fireworks and thunder....

Daisy has one and it sure helped her. We are not sure what is going on with her right now, storms no longer bother her, but frying hamburger scares her. Glad to hear it is working.

Last night we had tornado warnings and a very bad storm. While I was out on the deck watching the clouds the sirens going nuts and the constant thunder Sampson was lying on the divan when I come in barely noticing what was going on outside. I can't believe how well it works.
