Update on Rowdy the kitten

She has slowed down on the nipping, If I just hold her until she calms down usually she's fine.

She sleeps wherever I am, if on the computer she was sleeping on the desk and anything in her way, it looked uncomfortable so I bought her an inexpensive bed for the desk. It has a plush lining and she tries to nurse it. She will knead it for 20-30 minutes purring as loud as she can, then goes to sleep.

She had her first shots and is turning into a good looking kitten. She has been a lot of company. Here are a couple of her latest pictures, nursing on her bed and finally asleep.

  • They're a lot of company. I take 4 with me when I'm on the road. Don't know what I'd do without them. Thanks for rescueing her. In my case, I don't know who rescued who.

  • I must admit I get an immense amount of pleasure reading the posts here on the Pet Forum. Thanks to all who respond and Thanks to all who share their 'friends'. Bob
  • Rowdy is a beautiful little kitty, but if she's calming down already, beware! She is just resting up for her next round of mayhem. :W
  • Congratulations on your new kitten. Our last cat used to suck one of his front toes. It was so funny to watch; he was very contented and did this well into his adult years.
  • Her mother was killed, she was bottle fed from the time her eyes were opening.

Her nursing the fluffy stuff just brings out her loudest purr. It's just cute to watch her, she seems so serene. And for her that's a good thing.
  • Cats nursing soft, fluffy stuff goes on even into old age. It's normal.
  • Maybe she needs the bottle for a bit. Was she weaned too soon?
