Thanks all for the condolences.
We had a OK Christmas without our Houston buddy around but his younger sister(Sophie) is taking up that space now. She has missed her older brother a lot. She moped around a lot over the holiday weekend but she seems to be OK this week.
We have so much rain we haven't been able to go outside and have a proper funeral for him. We should be able to do that this weekend.
Again thanks for all the condolences.

Just revisiting this page and seeing my buddies picture brings up some great memories but also some sadness. I really haven't put all this into prospective. I do miss this ole' boy.
HE was around us for more than 13 years. We were looking at his AKC papers and he was born August 12, 2002 and my oldest got him when he was 8 weeks old. So he was a part of our family for a long time. HE was with us longer than any animal we have ever had. Looking at this picture he was just a good ole' boy. Loved to eat and it shows. He was a smooth operator too when it came to getting food wrappers and into the trash. He loved to get into trouble while he was in the camper..
He really did eat about half a box Krispy Kreme donuts one night. OH the next day..... We forgot them on the counter top from breakfast and he climbed up on the couch and over onto the counter top and had the empty box under the bed. He did this while we were out to eat one night. He would do this with pizza boxes and anything we did not put up. The stove turned into a good storage area as was the micro wave. Just these things make me smile about him.. Loved that boy.
thanks for memory's.... Houston my good ole' boy..
