well I filled out an adpotion application today

Good for you. We adopted an 8 year old Pomeranian back in 2008 or 2009. She had health issues as well. She lived until December of 2013. Health issues finally caught up to her. We gave her a great home for the for years. It really broke our hearts when she left. Never thought we would have another one. But here we are adopted a 3 year old Pomeranian last June.
