Wow - Some of you are "assuming" things which I did not write. When we visit areas that have stores, we stroll our dogs on the sidewalk. If one of us wants to go into a store, the other stays outside with the dogs.
At least this way we do not leave our dogs in a car or unattended at the mh for hours. We also make sure they have plenty of play time at a beach or park.
When we are on these adventures, we pick places to eat that are outside at the water and we do leave our dogs in the car. However we leave water, windows open, pick a shady spot for the car, make sure we check the dogs and never linger eating.
This is the way we and the dogs can enjoy all that this beautiful state has to offer.
