What are they thinking?

I am not a dog owner but have no problem with most who do have pets. I do understand a CG's need for a "pet deposit". There are just too many pet owners who think the rules apply only to others' animals. "My dog doesn't need to be on a leash - he always stays right by my side". "I ALWAYS pick up after my dog - that mess isn't his (while watching the dog 'do his duty' right in the same spot)". "My dog isn't a barker - he's fine inside the RV while I'm away". Sorry to say, how do you know that your pet, in a strange place with people running around outside your RV, isn't barking when you're not there??? My favorite while I was working in a CG several summers ago: "My dog has never ever bitten anyone. He must have been provoked" - while he was wandering around the CG off his leash!!!
