Back in the day we had a MH with single pane windows we used a 3M window insulation kit. It had double sided tape that I attached to the aluminum window frame then mounted the plastic. It was shrink type plastic that tightened up with a hair dryer. It worked really well, but of course you could open the windows it was on. Pretty easy to remove in the spring and no damage to the window.
