Ours start getting excited when they see us carrying things out the door. We are slow and it takes us a week or two to get totally prepared for a trip. By the time we are ready to go, we have to be REALLY careful getting out the door, so they don't slip out. They get wired for sound. When the big moment arrives, and they see the leashes come out, they are bouncing off the walls.
