Andy gets excited when he sees me packing our clothes, then the food we are taking along. This is usually the day before we leave. On the actual day of departure he is constantly underfoot, waiting for that magic moment when I snap that leash on his collar. Then he drags us to the truck and jumps in the back seat, and settles in for the trip to the campground. Yes, he's a real camping dog just like Champ was.
