My dogs get very suspicious. I try to get ready on the 'down low'. The second that Lucy sees me set the timer on the living room lamp, it's game on. I have to put them in the back yard, so they are not underfoot. Lucy will whine and lick the gate until we are ready to load them. One time, she figured it out and managed to get in the car. We could not get her to get out! She sat there for about 4 hours, until we left for the campground!
