While visiting a dog mushing friend last summer, I asked if he'd show my niece how a dog is harnessed for the sled. He went to the shed, pulled out a harness and when he started walking back to the dog yard with that harness EVERY canine in the dog yard started howling and jumping with excitement! I felt bad for them, getting their hopes up in the middle of summer!
