Oh, dogs read the subtle signs, that's for sure. They have a limited frame of reference so the important stuff such as: food coming; RV trip pending; visitors expected(=frantic house cleaning) all are locked into their little pea brains. It throws our girls off guard, if I mop the floor and company does not appear shortly after. :W
