What's with these crazy min pins?

Some of you know we inherited Darcy a couple of years ago when one of our kids moved to an apartment. That made three dogs for us, at the time, but now Darcy is our one and only. We love her but somebody needs to 'splain these wacky min pins to me. She is a perpetual motion machine. We can't let her outside off-leash because she will catch and eat a dozen lizards. She would also terrorize our postal carrier who obviously made a poor choice of occupations, he's so dog phobic. She now walks nicely on a leash but that took some time and patience to accomplish. I think maybe she has the doggy version of OCD?

Darcy will spend hours a day moving dog beds and little blankets from room to room. They must be properly slobbered up, too. :E She'll take the little dog pad/bed things and stack them all up like The Cat In The Hat. I can't leave her good dog bed out during the day because she will drag it all over the house and mess it up. She will sit and stay when it is feeding time, or for teeth brushing, but not so much otherwise. She is not in the least bit "biddable" (new word from Mark.):B She does that funny thing with a blanket, spinning it over her head and wrapping herself up like a burrito that Rock describes. Her saving grace is that she is a very affectionate little beastie. She just needs a JOB and I have no idea what that might be. She will play fetch and tug-o-war, but only when it's her idea. (see biddability note above.) If anybody has any ideas on how to keep Darcy busy without damage to wildlife or the house, I would love to hear it. BTW, she's about 7 now with no signs of slowing down. Also, she is not the tiny version you often see, she's about 10 lbs.
