It also can cut a seat belt off. That is being broadcast in the news on a couple of TV stations.Thank God for her and the dog's rescuers. She is one loyal dog lover who still thinks of her dog while her own live was in such danger. :) Loyal companion dogs deserve to be rescued too, if possible. ;)

that key fob looks interesting. I have seen them with seat belt cutters but no glass breaker. does any S&B merchant carry them? all of my boat hooks have been light and would have trouble breaking thru saran wrap.bumpy

A few years back I gave my son, DIL, and grandkids that are old enough to drive, one of the resq me key ring things. Cuts the seatbelt and will break a window. It's some5hing you hope you'll ever need, but if you need it, it could save a life. Kids are at the age you don't know what to buy them. So I"ve been getting things like this instead of stuff they may never wear or use. So far they've liked all the ideas I've come up with.

I carry one in all my vehicles that has the following:

Digital air pressure guage
Seat belt cutter
Window breaker
flashlight

I paid about $10 for mine, but don't remember where I got it. Amazon has a similar one for $23

I actually found mine at a Loves Truck Stop. Just make sure it is the RESQME brand name on it. There's a lot of junk ones out there too that don't work.
