Thank you for pointing out that a documentary on CNN may be slanted. Guess what? I know that. I knew that when I sat down to watch it.
Rather than condemning everyone for their hypocrisy, why don't you look at the facts. Sea World refused to comment on the show.
The officials from Sea World first minimized the attack. Then. when they realized this was a big deal- said that Dawn, (the dead trainer) was wearing a ponytail-and that was what got the whale agitated. Reminiscent of when Roy was attacked by his own tiger, because an audience member had a beehive hairdo.
This whale had a history of aggressive behavior. It's hard enough to manage an intake stallion or bull, let alone an adult killer whale used for breeding, as well as performance.
I would love to hear Sea World's lame excuses. It's not as if they're motivated by money or anything.
