Puppies, puppies, puppies.
I was gonna say before I saw you made your choice is that I have not ever had a bloodhound BUT I have had PLENTY of coonhounds. Blueticks, black n tans, redbones. All these hounds, and I would expect the bloodhound TOO, are extremely active. They are also EXTREMELY LOUD!!!
We've all seen ked clampett's lazy old hound but I have yet to see a hound just lay around. Their bay (they do not bark) makes people jump away and ask if the dogs OK.
