A friend of ours had a visit from the local PD on a pet complaint. They told him that someone called and they are required to come do a welfare check on the animal. This was on last Sunday night in a Minneapolis suburb. Temp was falling fast with a nasty windchill.
So, he had the dog come inside while the officers were there. They chatted for a couple minutes and heard the dog pawing at the sliding glass door ... He wanted back out. LOL. The officers said, "that dog is fine outside, have a nice night!!!"
Our friend does have a doghouse and fenced in yard. He is also a farm boy living in town .... He just laughed. It was good for a few laughs when he told us all about it....
