Our vet has put our ten year old pit on this arthritis medication. We would be interested in hearing comments on it from people who have used it for their pets.

- We used Zoom for our Shih Tzu for years and found it to work quite well.
- We put our cat on Cosequin. Quite reasonable price (Amazon) for cats, but for some reason the Cosequin for dogs is so much more expensive.
In about 3-4 weeks, I had my old cat back. No more problems jumping up or moving around. Our vet says it works for some animals and not for others. But it seems like it should be the first thing you try, before resorting to a prescription med. - I'm not familiar with that particular brand, but in general glucosamine supplements are pretty effective tool in treating or at least lessening the symptoms of osteoarthritis.
