roadnerd, looks like a nice TV. In case you are interested, here is a link to a post I made showing how I mounted the TV.
Mine was in a class C, on a solid outside wall so it may not be much help.
The circuit was fused at 15A so 14 gauge wire was appropriate.
Hope your install works out well. :)
That's an excellent writeup, thanks!
One other point that might be important: We are not the 1st owner of this trailer, so I'm not entirely familiar with everything that has been done to it.
Update: My 44 year old mind has a few voids ;) - I remembered this morning that there is some sort of socket in the console (mounted in a somewhat hidden location, on the underside of a shelf), that I'm now thinking is a 12V cigarette lighter style socket. I'll be attempting the install next Saturday, so I'll update when I have info (and I'll try to remember to take pictures). If this is the case, sorry for wasting everyone's time - this has been a very informative thread though, and I'm also considering putting in a few more 12V sockets given the great info on this thread.
BTW, someone mentioned that 12V TVs are expensive - I respectfully disagree, this was only $209, with a builtin (non BluRay) DVD player and SD card reader.
