250' og RG-6
If we are going to have satellite tv (DIRECTV SD) at the camp we will have a 250' run of cable. I like my trees better than tv. Doing a little googling I see a distribution amplifier is recommended...

Gordon that's what I needed. Thanks for the link; Shawn this being a field I'm not experienced in I was not aware of the r-11 ( I would have thought it was the refrigerant we used in the old centrifugal chillers I serviced); loggenrock - how do you make-up the connector for a triple shield cable? SDcampower- If I need to splice the cable I was going to cover it with heat shrink, dielectric grease will make it even better, thanks; Roy while camping on the Ga/Tn line we received a football game from ABC in Atlanta on a Jack antenna!
