I want to get a auxiliary fuel tank in the bed of my truck before my next big trip. To my happiness I received a Camping World sale flyer from my local store. It had listed fuel tanks just like what I want with 39 dollar install. I called them and was told they would not install, if I wanted to they would order it and I could do it myself or take it somewhere else. If I go somewhere else to install I will buy the tank there.

That $39 install has been a sore point here several times. It seems they keep adding things on to that come-on price until it's several times that number. At least in your case they didn't commit a fraud on you. But pretty low that they would offer the service and not even attempt it.I got a big CW catalog today with the same BS offer on the back.

I got the $39 install after Marcus intervened. I don't think it is fraud at all. Just poor communication with the stores.

CW promotes, advertises $39 Install........we'll beat any competitor's installed price or it's free.Then they don't honor it :HBut if you get the CEO involved they will. Perhaps the CW store in question by the OP should be mentioned. My understanding before with the $39 install was on stuff they sold in the store and not online. Maybe that has changed and I think Marcus will honor it for you.

The whole story is as I already said in original post. I would have bought at CW and had them installed. Now I will just forget them and go elsewhere. They stated that they don't know how to install one, have never done one.
