What kind of auto antenna do you have and was it modified to receive all of the Dish programming? Open face antenna? Dome? Do you have a Solo Node installed in the RV?
These will answer operational questions. Dennis is right about the Network programming. There is no way to receive AZ programming once you leave the spot beam (usually several hundred miles) but you can call Dish and have your location changed so you can receive the Networks at your new location. While traveling it's likely going to be easier to use your OTA antenna for the Networks and your Hopper for everything else.
