A new Google Earth.
Google has incorporated Google Earth into Chrome and made it better. https://www.google.com/earth/ The latest Chrome update seems to have fixed the lockup I was experiencing.

*** I've noticed that my mouse & keyboard locks up soon after using Google Earth but only if I stay in the Google Browser. I have to do a cold re-boot everytime. Could be my PC?
