My mother-in-law also likes to brag to her friends with hard-copy images. So I date/caption the images using my favourite program, then print them on the photo printer here at home, put them into a little photo album and then mail that to her.
The small photo albums display a single 4x6 photo per page and fit nicely in her walker too. Usually 20-50 pages per album. Takes a bit of time on my part, but that's no biggy. She enjoys them. The photos stay organized. No technology to confuse her. No buttons to push. Just a little book on which to turn pages and point and paw at.
