Aerial Photo of your house?

I'm wondering if there are any services that offer an aerial photo of ones property that won't break the bank?

In the old days a plane w/ photographer would take photos of peoples places. I'm wondering if this can be accomplished via internet/satellite images these days?

Thanks
  • Check your counties tax assessor web site for your home. Some states have tons of data, including pictures.
  • Get Google Earth Pro. You can go back in time with the Pro version.
  • There is a photographer near me who will take pictures with a drone.
  • Google Earth will tell you the date of the aerial. There is also a "history" button where you can look at previous views. Very fun to play with. And it's free!
  • Couple years ago we had one that came by selling the photos. Unfortunately, it did "break the bank" but we purchased it anyway. AND ... it was a local company, quite a long way to fly from Indiana to Washington State.
  • Use Google Maps in Satellite view. You can have your pic in seconds....

    put in address

then change to earth view (bottom left corner)

then zoom for above look, use the little yellow man to see street view.
