Yes, changed my paypal password so it *should* be okay, but am still nervous. Still don't know how they can still get into my ebay acc't despite new passwords, and pose as me being the seller of items that I never listed. Not sure what their exact intent is. Maybe they are just testing out what they can get away with? Maybe they are hoping some people will just go ahead and issue a refund via paypal and that gives them a way into your account?? The crooks are exploiting every trick they can think of.
If the crooks have accessed my account, does that mean they have my full name, address, etc. which can be used for identity theft? That is scary.
I linked my paypal and ebay account a year or two ago as requested (insisted?) by ebay. Just checked and it is still linked. Went to my account and there is a clicky to unlink the accounts but when I do, I can't anything on how to unlink. Will have to call ebay again. Good idea on removing the link.
