Alternative to Photoshop
The other day I posted at this forum asking about free word processors and learned of Open Office and Libre...had I not learned of Libre, Open Office would suffice. For years I have used Photoshop CS...

I downloaded gimp and paint net. couldn't figure out how to crop in gimp. outer parts darkened but didn't disappear. then tried paint and at least that had the automatic brightening/sharpening/etc. button that I had been looking for.
I have elements, paint shop pro, etc. and they are all too complex for what I want to do, simply crop and enhance a bit, maybe some red eye removal, etc.
when you are an excellent photographer, you don't need that much post processing. :)
