Hmm, I don't use Alexa, have the microphone physically non-working. Don't have Ring, Echo, security cams, or outdoor connected lights. Nor Tile, or any of the other stuff. Sometimes being a semi-Luddite is a good thing. :)

Dont trust anything to big brother, and yes, tech companies are big brother.

My Wi-Fi doesn't make it to the end of our lawn, how is it going to get to the neighbors?

Don't be too sure. I can see my neighbor's wifi from my house sometimes. It is locked of course and requires a password so I can't log into it. But it is there for someone so inclined to hack into.

I also can walk down the street with my iphone searching for wifi networks and see many neighbor's wifi sitting out there. Some have wifi names that I can associate with that person so easy to identify whose it is.

No they won't. I just disabled Sidewalk on my account. Geez, Bezos already knows enough about us. :B

I'm still trying to figure out how they would access bandwidth on another router but that's way beyond my pay grade. Thanks for the info OP.

Better buy those tinfoil hats right away, I hear there is a shortage of them and the price has shot through the roof.

I have no interest or need for any of those devices that hackers can use against you. I am not that lazy to want any of those JB devices at 74 years young.
