Unfortunately, I do not advertise my military service (Army) unless specifically asked, and then only when absolutely necessary, like for applying for a job because of this (similar) behavior. It's people like this you just wish you could pick them up, and drop them off in the middle of Afghanistan and turn them loose naked! But you know ... we served so they have the freedom to voice their opinion like this! Kind of ironic, isn't it?
Yes, very ironic...our neighbor is about 35 or 40 his Dad was a "boat" person. Worked themselves up from nothing. His Dad thanks me for being in military about everytime I see him. He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Everyone of them is a productive person of our society. 2 work for Boeing, 1 builds custom homes, one had DR in something and one is housewife for engineer. I think about them often when I have a bad experience, like one mentioned.

And we can voice our opinion. I'm glad CW (Marcus) is flying "THE" flag made in USA. That was a choice he made (and good one IMO). Being we are in a capitalist society his choice also has some bearing on my choice to shop there or not. He scored one in the plus column in my books.
Also being your retired military, do you still have a decal on car?
I understand some bases you still have to have them? Mine is expired for over a year, my ID card just gets scanned at gate at the two bases I go to. The person (fool) that spit on my car wouldn't of known me from anybody if I didn't have a base sticker.
