Did you read the FULL Story?

Mr CW was granted a 'variance' to Local Ordinance covering flag size with an agreed upon 'large size flag'.....then put up one 3x larger.

Has NOTHING to do with 'His/CWs' patriotism.
He is in violation of existing LOCAL Ordinance/Variance.

A 'standup guy' would abide by those laws.

Marketing/Advertisement PLAIN and simple!

agree that it's more about advertising than anything else but I also feel that govt has no business regulating the size of a flag until and unless it presents a hazard. that may be the case here but no way to know at this point.

. I totally agree. I love the flag but I understand rules are rules and need to be followed.

Isn't this the definition of insanity? Previous 2 threads this week locked already.

For what it's worth, I agree that it has nothing to do with patriotism and everything to do with exposure and marketing.

The only reason I come here anymore is for the entertainment value.
You all wonder why people are leaving.
This post is a good example.
