American flags?

Marcus,

I brought this to your attention over a year ago, with no response yet. I'll ask here.

I asked a clerk in the Tucson store (she has a British accent, that tells ya something) why you have American flags that are clearly marked "Made in China" or somewhere other than the US. So, why is that Marcus?

You people portrait the vision of the all American camping store. Well, to this retired Veteran, it's a slap in the face.

If I was to buy from camping world again, I'd gladly pay the price for an American made flag over one made outside of this country. Have a little more pride in your country and your company.

And I know that some will bash me for making a stink about a little flag, well, to those I say, Serve your country during Vietnam, and the Gulf War. Then come back and talk to me. Walk down a public street in your hometown and get spit on, while in uniform, then come back and talk to me.

Yes, that flag is a big deal, and it should be to every US citizen. If you don't think it should, just send me your name and the city you'd like to leave from, and I'll make reservations for you to vacate the US and go live in another country.

So.......what's the answer Marcus?

Seriously? You want to make a difference? Fight for veteran funding from the gub-ment. Period.

Camping World is a business and to compete they have to source accordingly. You don't like it? Find one you like and buy there.
  • Since Marcus has answered the original question and the thread has degenerated considerably, I am going to close it.

Good Sam Care Team can open it back up in the morning if they so desire.

    Good night/morning all
