Android 4.04 & FoxFi

Is this version what is called Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean or something else?

We were using FoxFi before then the phone upgraded and FoxFi would not work. Someone said it was because of the Android version ICS.

Is this still true? Or has Foxfi upgraded too?

WE have been using PDA.

  • FYIfoxfi works on my Droid Razr Maxx but you must enter a password, pin or design. Was told by Foxfi this is the only way android system will allow you to use it in wifi mode. You can still teather or use bluetooth without a password.
  • When Jelly Bean first came out, FoxFi had issues with many phones such as my Droid Razr. However, FoxFi has since been updated and now works great on my phone with Jelly Bean, I use it almost everyday. In fact, I'm using it right ow.
  • Foxfi and PDAnet are now the same program, you have to pay a few bucks for the premium version but its still a bargain and will work on any Android version.
  • I have jellybean 4.2 and Foxfi works well on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3.
