Another Satellite TV ?

I can't disagree. I am only saying that the H25 receiver will only work with DirecTV SWM LNB or the added SWM8 setup. You either have a SWM LNB or you are not using an H25.

Well Bill I have used this same dish that came with my SD install. Then I switched to HD at home and bring the same dish and use "H25" receivers and I'm watching it as type this so I know it works.

We currently use a 18" 3 lmb SD dish with the H25 boxes and receive only SD which is ok for short trips. I was able to move the dish about 1/8" and instantly got a 97% signal, looked it down and all is good until next time unless I find a automatic portable.

The Pathway X2 will not help him either. It is or Dish Network only and 211/411 series receivers only.
The Winegard Anser would do an excellent job for DirecTV or Dish but is semi-automatic and not fully automatic like a Carryout.

Most all the automatic portable Dome type antennas will work for you just fine,

One exception is the Tailgater since it is for DISH only.

SOME of the domes are better, for example the Wiengard Pathfinder X2 is a somewhat larger dish, and thus higher gain.

In fact.. That's how I'd make my choice, the bigger the dish the better the dish the dishes are all different sizes at Camping World.

So go there, browse and then go shopping for the best deal (VERY LIKELY NOT at camping world).

The H25 will not work with the Vuqube or any other portable style automatic dome as the antenna comes out of the box. The H25 does have a multi-switch option in the satellite setup menu but I don't know why....It can't do multi-switch and requires SWM. Since you can't get HD with your dome you can buy a D12 to use in the RV or you can add the SWM8 hardware and Power Inserter (PI28 or PI29) to make the H25 work with a dome.

Vuqube uses "multiswitch" and "18 inch round dish" settings. That is the antenna I have.

I didn't think the H25 would work with "multiswitch." I thought it required SWM, which is not compatible with the Vuqube. I think you need a D receiver, or an H receiver no higher than H24.
