You're going to want to get past that then because the effort won't be worth the gain at all since you're new to this. Ideally you will want to create a form to input your information and the ID doesn't have to be/shouldn't be on this form.

Others are telling you to set up your tables in a relational manner (1 table for tape, 1 for artist, 1 for song, etc.) but that is also probably not worth the effort at this point. There are a million ways to skin a cat and the one that works for you is the best way - never mind the academic answer.
