ChooChoo - All of these LED lights that have BUCK BOOST regulators emit RFI that causes interference with the RV television sets, NOAH WX alert radios, some reports of FM radios but I didn't see any of that here. Of course my VHF/UHF Ham radio net frequencies were hit as well.
I was real proud of first setup using all medium dollar LED fixures throughout my OFF-ROAD POPUP. I was good until we went on ALERT for a few days and way back in the woods running emergency radio communications relays from one side of the mountain to the next valley. I went dead in the water when darkness approached and had to start turning on my new LED lights... Everything quit on me haha... Finally realized it was the new LED LIGHTS so quickly switched to good ole flashlights and also had some 120VAC incandescent lamps with us.
I had to switch out all of LED LIGHTS for the cheap one from Ebay/China that did not use the built-in regulators. Things were fine after that. Just cost me a couple of hundred of dollars giving away all of my high dollar boards.
All of these LED BOARDS are FCC APPROVED so you can't complain to the LED manufacturers. They all meet the FCC specifications...
I'm still using my cheap ebay/china $4.99 boards in my off-road POPUP trailer.
I suspect the same thing applies with the BPL and FAA on some of those devices currently in use.
