Anybody carry an electronic keyboard on board?

I have a Yamaha electronic keyboard that I bought to carry with me in our 37 foot motorhome - but there was no good place to store it in the cabin, and no convenient place to set it up for playing.

Anyone know of a keyboard that is real slim and easy to store and set up?

  • I just bought a keyboard to have in the MH too. I scored a brand new one at a church yard sale while RV'ing! :B

They sell collapsible lightweight stands for that!

I just bought the least expensive stand. Both fit right in the compartment under the bed or the storage space under the couch.

I've met a lot of RV'ers who don't use their couch as a bed and do not even know that if you pull it out partway there is a big storage space under that couch to put more of your stuff in. And most all the beds are hinged and lift up for another storage space there too!
  • A friend of mine modified the table to carry her keyboard. It is the coolest thing I have seen. They turned the table so the "long" part pulled out (opposite all tables I have seen). They he bought or fabricated (don't know which) a mechanism for storing the keyboard under the table along the "long" edge. When it is stored, you cannot see it. She pulls it out and flips it up. I have never seen anything like it.
