Every MiFi is a router so a lot more people that you think are using routers. Most users have no idea they have a router in their hand as well as a device to access the internet. I have used many, many routers over the years using cellular internet, satellite internet and campground WiFi to connect. Routers that have WiFi as WAN is a great option if you plan to use your connection as well as a parks Wifi connection. I am not a big fan of the WiFi Ranger does to cost and complexity but I have not needed that kind of a device since I started using the NanoStation setup described in the Tiffin Forum (WiFi for less than $100 or something) as well as the YouTube Video by David Bott
