I have two Roku tvs and several kids ?? For me it's been a pretty simple solution to use a travel router so the tvs and kids connect once and I manage the routers connection to wifi. Anyone else ...

A good router will allow many more simultaneous connections. Plus, a good router will rebroadcast the WiFi signal much further than the Mobley can.
Got that but what advantage in a direct connection from mobley to router? They do sit right next to each other and I get a strong signal.
