Not a bad improvement, but definitely not earthshaking.
Be careful what you wish for. The person blocked gets a busy signal, so they will know that they have been blocked. That could prove embarrassing, if it is a windy relative, for instance.
True. However, if I choose to block them, usually I tend not to care what they think, but that they are not intruding on me. I like Mr. Number in Android because I can configure it to pick up and hang up, which is worse than a busy signal because it shows the person they are being deliberately hung up on.
As an alternative, there is always the Do Not Disturb feature that came around in iOS 6. I have that set for most of the night. People I know, I get their calls. People I have no clue about can call twice and ring the phone. Otherwise, it just rings, then hits voice mail.
