Apple IPhone or android?

I have an Apple IPhone 4. It's time for replacement. Last year my DH got an Android. I play with it once in awhile and hate it, but I really haven't given it much time. I was hoping for input from people who have had both, and which you liked better. Which are easier to use.

i think the iPhone is easier to learn

I think the Android phones offer more ways to set it up the way you want
but takes a little more time to learn

ANDROID but of course They rule! Had an i and hated it...too propriety based. Android much more open. Luuuuuuuv it! Do you hear me?

I have had both, currently own an iPhone. I think it is just a case of becoming familiar with the operating systems. I now have the iPhone as it syncs with my Macbook and iPad. I think the battery life on the Droid X that I had was better, I was using a app manager that shuts down designated apps to increase battery life.
