Have any Canadians been able to get into this deal?

Question was asked on Howards forum and the answer is "not available for international markets" as stated in the ATT contract.
One individual tried it (I think he was on a cruse ship)and it would not work.
There is an option to select international data that you can check in the Mobility but apparently you will not have international data even if checked.
I did not click on the option during set up since I wouldn't need it.
Others have asked about Mexico but I did not see a post on anyone trying it.
