Incorrect. It simply needs 12 volt power source which can be a 12 volt adapter from USB, liter plug or 110.

There are a number of threads on this, but basically, the unlimited data plan at $20 is not offered to new customers anymore, but those that have it are still able to use it.

The new AT&T plans are 1G and 5G, not unlimited.

Although the Mobley device can be purchased on the AT&T site, the $20 per month plan was retired several months ago.

On Star has the same deal. $20 month unlimited data.
