I wonder why AT&T/Direct are in the process of upgrading their offerings for satellite TV to only HD transmission when you're saying they're getting out of the business?
Their Asian customer support agents are driving users away in droves. They could reverse that trend easily by moving their call centers back to the U.S. and giving true customer support in a timely fashion. Dropping the interactive voice response systems that use robo responses to route your calls around would make them an overnight success.
I've tried several cell phone providers and they all suck. I hesitate to give AT&T a chance because I'm not going to put myself through the experience of calling their so called customer support line ever again.
Dish Network seems to have moved their call centers back to the U.S. and calling them for assistance is much more productive these days.
