Thanks. That has been my conclusion too. Of course the problem is that the back of the unit is not accessible on a wall unit and plugging into an aux output often kill signals to the speakers. If so I would have to plug and unplug when switching, and that wouldn't work. There are some units with a front aux out and an input jack. I will have to settle for one of those. To me it seems so logical that there would be units that could send a wireless signal to speakers or whatever. Just like the phone or tablet. Thanks all.
