Automatic Satellite - Direct TV

I am in the same position as you and would like to hear the good and bad of each. I am also considering the Winegard Anser semi -automatic if anyone has input. I have read that being a little larger the Anser has less rain fade out. Help us both out with some input guys. Yes, I have searched and read what's on here but more input is always better.

Thanks for asking the question Yellowschoolbus. Not trying to hijack thread just also wanting the same input since we have a big month long trip in a couple of weeks. Thanks for any help.
