OK, that's good to hear. I guess their website is probably just out-of-date, as it mentions in several places that it only will pick up two satellites.

That's great! Thanks for the info. Glad we get two satellite further down south. Wished Shaw would have made the 3rd accessible.

The winegard definitely picks up all 3 Shaw Direct sats. The further south you go the more HD channels in the 001 - 299 range will be lost.
Not a big issue because all of the channels are still available in SD.
Here in Canada I get all the same channels on the trav'ler as I receive in the house

I would assume they have updated the system. It will be something I would have to check into as we are using the new LNB at home and on our portable dish. Otherwise we would have to have the codes on receivers changed.

I didn't realize there was an explorer automatic system for Shaw. I figured there were only 2 available.

That unit is not usable with Shaw.

My King Relay receives Dish SD HD, Directv SD and Bell Canada. So far have only used it on Dish from CA to TX and return trip. Not familiar with Shaw?

I purchased the Explorer Dish and controller. I liked it due to its ability to be able to use the manual control to tweek the signal. This is extremely beneficial in Mexico where the satellite footprint is smaller and when their might be an obstruction. My installer guy loves this one due to its ability to change out any parts needed, where he claims the Wineguard must be a complete change out if there are issues with it. The Winegard Trav'ler has a much, much larger support system. I was an installer and the Shaw system works great and provides coverage throughout the US and into Mexico. RF Mogul is currently having problems with their software for Dish Network due to changes by Dish. Winegard does not use similar software so the Winegard Trav'ler continues to operate without issue.
