I finally decided not to worry about the HD and local channels, since we normally camp outside our Directv local spot beam area. Bought the King Quest automatic satellite antenna. Got it working today. This automatic antenna is new and has only been out a couple of months. I found very few reviews about it. I'm going to post a thread about my experience to help the next guy researching this purchase. There is one minor issue which may be a bigger issue for some. I am overall happy with my decision.
