I bought 2 inverters off ebay. Evidently xantrex made other inverters under the name statpower. Their portawattz model is actually the older xantrex prowatt model. I bought a used 300 watt for $21 and a new 600w for $45 both including shipping!!! Supposedly these older xantrex inverters are a good quality build. Both are MSW inverters. The 600w seemed much more robust than the little one so I figured For that price I could try them both out and see which is more efficient.
